The Mauros wanted a sleek, resort-like modern home that had Italian / Mediterranean influences. Strong lines, symmetry, and splashes of colour were the recurring themes.
We started working on the landscape design of this stunning home just after the original house that had been on the property had been demolished. Sadly, we identified a lovely chestnut tree that had to be removed prior to construction. The Mauros had it cut down, the wood saved and made into furniture for the garden.
Creating privacy from the road was a challenge. Layered plantings of trees and shrubs created privacy without building a solid wall along the property front.
Continuing to be a part of this garden's growth by maintaining it is most rewarding!
